| My goal was to lose waist not necessarily weight. The reason for this was
that I didn't feel particularly overweight but I certainly noticed that my work
suits were more than a little tight. So much so, that I had to replace them all. |
| The weight did not pile on; it crept up on me and took me by surprise. My
trouser size increased from a 29" waist to 36" over about 4 years, but my waist
size was over 40". If not being able to fit into most of my clothes was not bad
enough, the fact that I was out of breath after 8 or 9 holes of golf convinced
me what I already knew deep down. I had to seriously think about losing weight
and reducing my waist size for the good of my health. |
| When I was at University I was very fit. I played football for the university
and took exercise almost everyday, whether it was training or an actual game. As
I was so active I could drink as much beer and eat as much food as I wanted and
never put on any weight. The perfect scenario! |
| As the years went by my lifestyle changed. I had several jobs both at home
and abroad, moved house and got married. These new commitments meant that I
began to play less sport each week. Things finally reached a head when I moved
into a new office-based job that needed me to have regular business lunches,
work late and start early! |
| My weight was hit by a triple whammy! 3 course business lunches whether I was hungry or not,
take-aways most nights, as I was late home from work and the most exercise I took was the occasional game of golf. |
| I knew I had to do something about it but a big problem was that I would
rather stick my hand in the fire than go on a cabbage soup diet or attend the
local slimming clinic. That's when I heard about fatmanslim.It was exactly the solution
I was looking for promising that there would be no tricks or faddy diets and that any changes to my

size. To increase my daily activity I began to take a small 10-minute walk in my
lunch break. 3 course business lunches soon became 2 course lunches. |
